Confessions of a Roadkill Christian by Faith Raider

Let me just start by saying that I love reading and hearing people’s stories. Every person is unique and has a story to tell. One of the reasons that I love to read is so that I can step into another person’s shoes and learn from life experiences whether that be fiction or non-fiction.

I especially enjoy reading stories of the Lord’s faithfulness in the lives of brothers and sisters in Christ. So, after reading a small section of Confessions of a Roadkill Christian I knew this would be a story I wanted to read. Faith tells her life story from the beginning. From legalism to overwhelming grace and everything in between. We walk with her through her early years of marriage as a young wife and mom. We see her doubt, pain, and sorrow. She shares about the struggles she has faced over the years and the lessons she has learned along the way. We see how God has been faithful in her life every step of the way.

I don’t know about you, but when I look back on my own life I see God’s faithfulness even in the midst of struggle. When I read stories of other believers, I see his faithfulness in the small things and the big things. These stories encourage me. This was one of those stories. Many parts if her story read like a journal and it is vulnerable, honest and valuable.

Thank you for sharing your story with the world @faithraider
